The integration results in an engine with the fuel economy of a 2.0L straight 4-cylinder engine, and 320PS power, equivalent to a large 6-cylinder engine. Fitted on the Civic Type R, it takes full advantage of the high performance and light weight of this engine, setting a new front-wheel drive lap record* of 7 minutes 43.80 seconds** at the Nürburgring Nordschleife***.
