Kuala Lumpur, 11 June 2026 – Honda Malaysia (or the Company) today officially brought back an iconic nameplate, the All-New Prelude. Launched at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS 2026), the sixth-generation Prelude has been reimagined to deliver a new driving experience. Developed under Honda’s “Unlimited Glide” concept, it offers the unique blend of driving enjoyment, refined comfort, and everyday practicality.

Developed as a modern grand tourer, the All-New Prelude delivers a refined balance of sporty character and everyday comfort. At its core is Honda’s advanced 2.0L e:HEV powertrain, producing 184PS and 315Nm of torque to provide responsive acceleration, smooth power delivery, and impressive efficiency.

Complementing this advanced powertrain is the debut of S+ Shift Technology, a first in Honda Malaysia’s lineup. This innovative motor-driven hybrid system precisely controls engine RPM during acceleration and deceleration, delivering a more direct drive response and sharper gear-shifting feel for enhanced hybrid performance. By seamlessly synchronising responsive power delivery, Active Sound Control (ASC), and dynamic visual displays on the Power Meter, the S+ Shift Technology creates an immersive and engaging driving experience, strengthening the connection between the car and the driver.

For the first time in a Honda model, the All-New Prelude is equipped with Coasting Control Operation. This innovative feature allows the car to decelerate smoothly, alleviating driver burden by reducing the need to constantly switch between the brake and accelerator pedals.

The All-New Prelude adopts key chassis technologies from the Type R, including a dual-axis strut front suspension and Adaptive Damper System, to deliver precise handling and enhanced driver confidence. The All-New Prelude also features Agile Handling Assist (AHA) to maximise vehicle stability and driver confidence, particularly during cornering and obstacle-avoidance manoeuvres.

This sophisticated look is subtly elevated by distinctive blue accents on the lower centre of the front and rear bumpers, while performance-oriented components like its 19-inch Aluminium Wheels, housing bold blue Brembo brake callipers, further enhance its dynamic presence.

Bringing the “Unlimited Glide” concept into the cabin, the All-New Prelude adopted a Gliding Cockpit design that creates a natural sense of connection between the driver, passenger and vehicle.
