Petaling Jaya, 2 October 2025 – Honda Malaysia (or the Company) today launched its
25th Anniversary “Because of You” Campaign to commemorate a quarter century of serving Malaysians. Running from 1st October to 31st December 2025, the three-month campaign features an exciting line-up of activities, including a lucky draw with prizes worth up to RM1 million and exclusive programmes with rewarding benefits.
Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Narushi Yazaki said, “2025 marks a meaningful milestone for Honda Malaysia since our establishment in 2000. Over the past 25 years, our journey has been shaped by both challenges and achievements. Guided by our ‘Challenging Spirit’, we have grown into a full-fledged marque, one that remains committed to Malaysians and to being a company that society wants to exist.

The 25th Anniversary “Because of You” Campaign is our way of expressing gratitude and saying ‘terima kasih’ to Malaysians.”
Under this campaign, Honda Malaysia is offering the biggest rewards and lucky draw prizes in its history, worth up to RM1 million. These include six units of Honda models – the WR-V RS, City RS, City Hatchback RS, Civic RS, New HR-V (V variant) and CR-V e:HEV RS, as well as Honda Insurance Plus (HiP) rebates. Customers who test drive or register any Honda model at any of the authorised dealerships nationwide during the campaign period will receive at least one lucky draw entry*a. The more entries they collect, the higher their chances of winning a Honda model. Two winners will be announced each month on Honda Malaysia’s official Facebook page and through its dealer network.
Adding to the celebration, Honda Malaysia also introduces several rewarding programmes for its customers. The Honda Loyalist & Loyalist Plus Programme offers up to RM2,000 cash rebate or service vouchers for existing Honda owners, their family members such as parents, spouse and children, and even Honda motorcycle owners*a. Meanwhile, car owners looking to upgrade to a Honda can join the Upgrader Programme which provides up to RM1,500 in cash rebate or service vouchers for the City and WR-V*a.
The Company also rolls out a dedicated Government Servant Programme in appreciation of the government’s continuous support. Through this initiative, government servants*a who purchase the City, Civic and New HR-V between 1st October and 31st December 2025 will enjoy an additional RM1,500 cash rebate*a.
As part of the 25th Anniversary “Because of You” Campaign, customers can enjoy a special trade-in programme through Honda Certified Used Cars (HCUC) at selected dealerships*b. Honda Malaysia also introduces a more flexible financing option*a, making it easier for customers to own a Honda during the campaign period. Additionally, customers can enjoy a special after-sales discount of 25%*a on selected parts. The selected parts include the Belt Alternator, Link Stabilizer, Lower Arm, and Absorber.
Throughout its 25 years, Honda Malaysia has driven innovation and manufacturing growth in the country. It began local assembly at the Pegoh Plant in 2003 with the CR-V and pioneered the introduction of hybrid models, starting with the Civic Hybrid in 2004. In 2014, the Company significantly boosted its manufacturing capability by doubling its annual production capacity to 100,000 units with the opening of its No. 2 line. Honda Malaysia's success was further underscored by achieving its one-millionth sales unit in 2021 and its one-millionth production unit in 2022.
