Both 3M and Ecotint emerged as applicators of choice for Honda Malaysia after having gone through a stringent selection process to find the best products that meet the requirements for Honda vehicles. 3M imports their films from both Japan and Korea while the films from Ecotint are manufactured by Sumitomo Osaka Cement Co., Ltd. in Japan. With customer’s safety and security in mind, the films are also designed to help hold the glass fragments together, reducing potential injury from flying glass.

 

The films are available at various thickness at permissible level of visible light transmittance (VLT) which complies with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) regulations. Using non-metallized and low infrared rejection films, customers do not need to worry about interference of electromagnetic signals such as the usage of GPS and Smart Tag.

Hence, installation process will be shortened and the risk of damaging the vehicle can be reduced.
