Upon arrival, all Honda associates were gathered for an official opening ceremony and a short speech by Mr. Atsushi Fujimoto, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Malaysia.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Atsushi Fujimoto said, "On behalf of Honda Malaysia, we are pleased to host you and your family members to this Family Day out at Genting Highlands. We hope that this trip can provide an opportunity to build and strengthen your relationships with each other as well as with your own family members. We would like to say that we appreciate you and your contributions to Honda Malaysia and this is your day!"

Mr. Fujimoto added that Honda Malaysia is a company that enjoys sharing the greater joys with people around the world and to be recognized as a company that society wants to exist. And this Family Day is in line with that core value.

During the Family Day, Honda Malaysia arranged a series of activities for Honda associates to have a fun and memorable time with their families. The activities include a 'logo' writing contest where Honda associates write the word "Dreams". Children were also not left out as they had three different contests to participate in namely a colouring contest, drawing contest and jigsaw puzzle contest.
