Kuala Lumpur, 28 April 2008 - Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd had once again named the Reader's Digest Asia Gold Trusted Brand Award in the car category in Malaysia. It was the 10th consecutive year that Honda Malaysia was awarded this standing as a result of the Reader's Digest Trusted Brands proprietary research study, which is recognised as one of the most representative and objective branding surveys in Asia.

Honda was one of the few car brands that was presented the award in the Malaysian market. Awards were presented to brands that topped the charts in their respective categories, calculated based on the annual survey that measures consumers' brand preferences. The six criteria named in the survey assigned with a score by consumers include: Trustworthiness, Credible image, Quality, Value, Understanding of Customer needs, and Innovation.
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Honda Malaysia, Mr. Atsushi Fujimoto stated on winning this award, "We are very honoured to receive this award for the 10th consecutive year. It demonstrates our commitment to understand and recognise the ever changing needs and expectations of customers in the Malaysia market; and our continuous efforts to meet those expectations".
