In line with Honda Malaysia's commitment towards achieving No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction, 104 customers together with their partners were treated to an extraordinary evening to preview the All-New Jazz, presented via a runway fashion show!
The preview was held immediately after the All-New Jazz's media launch, to provide Honda loyal customers an exclusive experience of the car launch and the car. It was held in the evening of 20 August at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.
The night started off with celebrity emcee Xandra Ooi welcoming the guests and introducing the Honda's management team. This was followed by a welcome speech by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Malaysia, Mr. Atsushi Fujimoto. He welcomed the customers to the special event, which he said to his delight, allowed Honda Malaysia's management team to meet and greet loyal customers. Mr. Fujimoto explained the background, development and offerings of the All-New Jazz, and ended his speech by thanking the customers' loyal support and making Honda one of the best-selling and successful car brands. He is also confident that the All-New Jazz with strong acceptance of its first generation model with close to 10,000 units in sales; advanced styling and improved features would deliver more value and joy to customers here in Malaysia.
Mr. Fujimoto's speech was followed by the All-New Jazz Fashion Show. Customers were amazed by the way the car was unveiled on a fashion runway as the car was the main runway model on the show. This was the first-of-its kind in Malaysia. It was also the first time a Honda car was introduced on a runway fashion show purely inspired by the All-New Jazz.
According to Mr. Fujimoto, fashion is a form of expression that can represent and convey the PREMIUM image of the All-New Jazz very aptly. All creations were inspired by the key characteristics of the All-New Jazz, which are its class-leading Space, Style and Performance.
Each designer was inspired by the different characteristics of the car. Khoon Hooi was responsible for designing the 'Space' collection representing the interior which is spacious and comfortable. Jonathan Cheng expressed the 'Style' theme in male and female perspectives based on the silhouette of the car. Melinda Looi's 'Performance' collection was inspired by the power and torque of the All-New Jazz.
The customers were intrigued by the All-New Jazz, and most of them went up front at the display area to get a look at the different models of the All-New Jazz at close range. Honda's Product Specialists were on hand to answer customers' queries about the All-New Jazz's technical specifications and development concept.
Later in the evening, customers received interesting bluetooth transmitted information, highlighting the main features of the All-New Jazz, through their mobile devices like cellular phones and PDAs.
The entertainment starting from dinner till the end of the evening was a lively performance by Gruv Avenue, a live band that specialized in Jazz numbers.
The second generation Jazz was definitely a hit judging from the conversations it has started amongst customers as they were helping themselves to dinner.
